I am just a human being and this is my personal website where I write down some of my (somewhat) useful thoughts. Professionally I am a Rust developer and a person that loves to solve interesting problems in interesting places (I do have a soft spot for embedded). I spend quite a lot of my private time spending it with my domestic and abroad friends (shoutout to Ghali, Jakub, and Michal), family, and going to saunas (that's my guilty pleasure).
I do care about a lot of things like the environment, code quality and most importantly human connection. As you probably have already noticed, this website does not contain any flashy images, adverbs, random 100MiB JS garbage nor AI generated text. Every single line of text and markup code has been hand written by me so all the grammatical mistakes together with the subjectively awful design is all on me.
This website is still under construction and things might get removed and updated over the time. If you liked an article but cannot find it anymore, please feel free to browse the official Codeberg repo as all the articles are there. If you still cannot find it please feel free to contact me at petrlic.marko@gmail.com.
One last thing before I sign off. I am thankful to be given this opportunity to share my thoughts and feelings with the world. Even if I managed to make you smile, laugh or feel good only once, it means that I did good and this means (almost) everything to me. Thank you for your time, your patience and maybe some positive feedback if you decided to give one.
Yours truly,
Marko Petrlić
